Pata Humba

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo of Pork Pata
  • 1 small onion, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 4 to 5 garlic, peeled and pounded
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 can of pineapple juice (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 8 to 10 peppercorns
  • P10 banana blossom
  • 1 Beef cubes
  • 3 pcs Bay Leaves
  • 1 Ajinomoto MSG
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

OPTIONAL RECIPES

  • Pineapple chunks
  • Star Anise
  • Black Beans
  • Quail Egg
  • Potato

Instructions

  1. Boil water for you pata.
  2. When liquid is boiling, put the pata. Add salt and let it boil until the meat is tender. About 30 mins-1 hour.
  3. Remove pata and discard the water.
  4. Saute the garlic and onion. Put the Pata until light brown,
  5. On a separate caserole, put the Pata, sautee garlic and  onion, Pineapple Juice and soy sauce. Let it boil for 5 mins.
  6. After boiling, put the banana blossom, peppercorn, beef cubes, bay leaves and MSG.
  7. Simmer until the sauce is thicky.
  8. Put 1 tablespoon vinegar and sugar then serve.
